British Airways miles redeem on American Airlines, and with their new “avios” distance-based miles system have flights available for as little as 4,500 miles. This basically amounts to a 36% rebate on anything you buy, so for those items that never go on sale (like men’s penny loafers) it’s a great time to stock up.
